A story of two girls united by a name, divided by 70 years. One who searches for love in a world of war and tragically loses everything, the other who discovers her story and is determined for the world to know about it.

The first girl, in 1942, is exchanging letters with a soldier about to be sent to the front. He sends her poetry, writes her music and draws paintings of her. They quickly fall in love and she remains in the city in order to meet him on the way to the front. Fate determines that they are never to meet and she goes to the front herself, never to return

The modern day Katya is a promising young violinist who discovers, by chance, this incredible story and is determined for the world to know about it and, if by chance this young soldier is still alive, to deliver to him the final letter that was written.

This was a project that I was involved in from early 2021 and, as the story had a musical element to it, I was required to write a good portion of the music before shooting had started including the music that was in the letter and music for the second Katya, the violinist, to play, both solo music and orchestral
