Adults were once children, but often tend to forget about it. To them, their childhood adventures seem a stranger....Set in 1932, with flashbacks to 1912, All About My Sister is the story of a brother and sister and the different ways in which they remember their childhoods. Minka, the younger brother, goes to visit his elder sister Lyolya in the city where they grew up. Along the way he recalls funny stories from their childhood, but, as the journey goes on, starts to release the common theme that runs through these stories, that his sister, as the elder, was blamed for things that he had also done wrong...
While he is on his way the twin boys of Lyolya, Petya and Fedya, have played a prank that puts their mother in real trouble. If the money bag that they have lost can't be found then their mother will be put in prison and their house taken by the state. Only the neighbour's steam engine, Minka's arrival and another prank can safe Lyolya from prison...
